    Alonso Perez (North Las Vegas Police Department) Authorities in Nevada searched Sunday for a murder suspect who escaped police custody after being placed in an interview room. The Las Vegas Review-Joual reported that Alonso Perez, 25, was arrested by North Las Vegas police Friday at around 10 a.m. in coection with an Aug. 27 murder. He was then transferred to the department’s detective bureau and was placed in an interview room still handcuffed. North Las Vegas police spokesman Aaron Patty said that a detective left the room and Perez was able to tu the handcuffs “until he broke free and escaped the building.” According to the paper, Perez stole a white 2016 Ford F-250 pickup truck from ...
