Debbie Wasserman Schultz is fighting Tuesday to hold onto her House seat after losing her post atop the Democratic National Committee last month over a leaked email scandal, amid waings from her primary challenger that she’s taken her base “for granted.” First-time candidate Tim Canova, a law professor backed by Beie Sanders, is trying to unseat the incumbent Tuesday, in one of several big end-of-the-season primaries. Canova’s longshot bid to upset Wasserman Schultz got a huge boost this spring when Sanders endorsed him and even hinted at coming to Florida to campaign for him. He benefited again when Wasserman Schultz was caught up in the leak of emails showing top DNC officials crit...

Hillary Clinton’s team used more than just a “cloth” to scrub her private server – employing a special program known as BleachBit to delete her private emails and try to prevent their recovery, a senior Republican on the House oversight committee who has read the FBI’s investigative file told Fox News. “They didn't just push the delete button. They had them deleted where even God can't read them,” Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said Thursday. The account is striking considering that Clinton, at a rare press conference last year in Las Vegas, seemed to claim ignorance when asked by Fox News whether she wiped her server. “What, like with a cloth or something?” Clinton quipped, adding: “I don...

The sign hanging on the door at the Catholic High School for boys in Little Rock, Arkansas. Let's say your 10th-grader forgets his lunch. These are just some of the supplies purchased by Amy Rhine, a kindergarten teacher in Las Vegas, Nev., for her class last year. Cash-strapped schools across America are demanding that parents spend hundreds on supplies, even requiring bulk purchases of cleaning materials that benefit the entire class, in a move that is fomenting anger among moms who say the lists are real budget busters. Elizabeth Shatz, a PTA parent from Mineola, N.Y., said she was required to purchase three 20-count boxes of pencils, multiple containers of baby wipes and boxes of tissues to be distributed among her child’s entire classroom. She also had to search store shelves for folders and notebooks in very specific...
