  • BIAS ALERT NY Times aligns Trump with sext-crazed Weiner

  •   The New York Times is so disgusted with Anthony Weiner that it has deployed the Paper of Record's version of the nuclear option: equating him to Donald Trump. Outside of the fact that both hail from New York, the comparison may seem like a stretch. But following revelations the former Democratic congressman and husband of Hillary Clinton's top aide sexted raunchy selfies as his little boy lay next to him, columnist Frank Bruni sought to smear Trump with sco eaed by Weiner.   The food critic-tued-pundit drew the oddball analogy in an Aug. 30 column titled, "Donald Trump's Irredeemable Twin." Bruni's colleagues in the Old Gray Lady's opinion section also let slip their election stances with such titles as "The Duplicity of Donald Trump," "Donald Trump's Bigotry," and "Pariahs for Donald Trump." Bruni himself penned a July column titled, “The Citrusy Mystery of Trump’s Hair.” But in the more recent piece, Bruni managed to compare the GOP presidential nominee to ser, ...ادامه مطلب

  • BLM ‘DISAPPOINTED’ Slams Dems after memos reveal ‘pacifying’ tactics

  •   Black Lives Matter slammed the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee after a memo leaked late Wednesday seemed to show the group carefully coaching candidates on how to avoid angering the "radical" activists.  The November 2015 memo included tips like: Do not offer “support for concrete policy positions;” be sure to "lead from behind;" stick to "small" meetings; and avoid mentioning terms like "black-on-black crime."  On its Facebook page, BLM said officials should "stop pacifying" them.  “We are disappointed at the DCCC’s placating response to our demand to value all Black life. Black communities deserve to be heard, not handled. People are dying,” the organization said, in response to the leaked document.  The leaked files were posted along with other Democratic documents by Guccifer 2.0, a hacker of unknown origin who the U.S. says could be working out of Russia and is intent on disrupting the U.S. presidential election. • SURVIVING TOUGH RACES Wasserman Schultz, Rubio win primaries in Florida

  •   Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Tuesday survived a tough primary challenge -- defeating a persistent, first-time challenger and the controversy that ended her leadership of the Democratic National Committee. The Associated Press projected the win for Wasserman Schultz shortly after polls closed. In the state’s closely-watched Senate primaries, Republican Sen. Marco Rubio and Democratic Rep. Patrick Murphy won their respective Florida Senate primaries -- setting up a high-profile November contest that will help determine whether Democrats can retake control of the Senate. Wasserman Schultz is expected to win a sixth term in November in the state’s Democratic-leaning 23rd Congressional District. Her race against law professor Tim Canova gained national attention when Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Beie Sanders accused Wasserman Schultz, as DNC chairwoman, of rigging the primary for front-running Hillary Clinton. Sanders later endorsed Canova, w, ...ادامه مطلب

  • BIAS ALERT Anchor tough on Clinton $, but mum on own donations

  •   ABC newsman George Stephanopoulos gave Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager a grueling grilling over the scandal-scarred Clinton Foundation’s future on Sunday. But Stephanopoulos, a former aide to President Bill Clinton, must have forgotten to disclose his own five-figure donations to the organization. Clinton has said if she is elected president, the controversial family foundation will cease taking foreign donations, but other media outlets, including the Boston Globe and the liberal Huffington Post, have called for it to be shut down altogether. Speaking to campaign manager Robby Mook, Stephanopoulos wondered if the post-election pledge was not tantamount to admitting Clinton was wrong to take previous donations. “You announced this week that the foundation would no longer take contributions from foreign govements or corporations, if Secretary Clinton wins the White Ho,bias alert, bias alert fox news, fox bias alert, fox news bias alert irony, amber alert bias ...ادامه مطلب

  • THE PRESSURE IS ON Clinton reveals tax returns, asks Trump to follow suit

  •   Hillary Clinton and her running mate Tim Kaine released their 2015 tax retus on Friday – a move meant to put pressure on Donald Trump to disclose his own retus. According to the campaign release, Bill and Hillary Clinton paid $3.6 million in taxes on an adjusted gross income of $10.6 million. The filings show that the Clintons paid a federal tax rate of 34.2 percent in 2015. The bulk of their income -- more than $6 million -- came from speaking fees for appearances made largely before Hillary Clinton launched her campaign in April 2015. Clinton claimed to be “broke” after leaving the White House. The Clintons' income puts them well within the ranks of the top 0.1 percent of Americans, though they pay a higher tax rate than many of their elite peers, according to an analysis by the nonpartisan Tax Foundation based on 2013 data. The tax release is part of an effort to undercut Trump's character by questioning the New York businessman's record. • DNC HACK ATTACK? New 'leak' reveals 'wobbly' Dems on Iran, celeb donors

  • File photo - President Barack Obama, standing with Vice President Joe Biden, delivers remarks in the East Room of the White House in Washington, Tuesday, July 14, 2015, after an Iran deal is reached. (AP Photo/Andrew Haik, Pool) Another batch of documents has purportedly been leaked from the Democratic National Committee’s servers by the hacker who goes by the name ‘Guccifer 2.0’. The files describe some democrats as “wobbly” on the controversial Iran nuclear deal and provide details of major celebrity donors such as director Steven Spielberg and actor Tom Hanks. The hacker provided The Hill with a cache of documents covering political strategies, next week’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia and fundraising efforts, the website reported Monday. Guccifer 2.0 appears keen to keep their activities in the spotlight. Last month the shadowy figure (or group) claimed responsibility for the recent attack of DNC servers and published a purported dossier of Hillary Clinton-related documents. The Hill reports that the latest batch of document contains a file titled “March 26, 2015 – Plans for Recess”, which appears to be notes from a call with political consultancy Democracy Partners. The file covers political strategies for the April 2015 Congressional recesses. The note addresses five topics: immigration, the budget, gun violence, stalling of the attoey general nomination, and the Iran nuclear deal, which was announced April 2, 2015. The document reportedly describes the Iran nuclear framework as a “good deal to protect national security” but adds that “wobbly [D]emocrats want to scratch this thing.” Related: After DNC attack, hacker Guccifer 2.0 claims Hillary Clinton 'dossier' leak Russian govement-affiliated hackers breach DNC, take research on Donald Trump Lone hacker claims responsibility for DNC breach, but fingers still point at Russia “Wobbly Dems — booker, Casey, waer, peters, man chin and gillibrand — cold run up the score on Menendez bil, ...ادامه مطلب

  • TERROR REPORT REVEAL '28 Pages' of 9/11 probe offers details of Saudi ties

  •   The U.S. govement on Friday released a once-secret chapter from a congressional report on the 9/11 attacks that addresses Saudi connections to some of the hijackers, a move sure to recharge speculation over what -- if anything -- Saudi govement officials knew.  Under wraps for 13 years, the report contains numerous redactions but states some hijackers "were in contact with, and received support or assistance from, individuals who may be connected to the Saudi Govement." The documents were posted Friday by the House intelligence committee, after being declassified.  The report questioned whether Saudis who were in contact with the hijackers after they arrived in the U.S. knew what they were planning. The document -- known as the so-called "28 pages" -- names people the hijackers associated with before they carried out the attacks. It identifies individuals who helped the hijackers get apartments, open bank accounts, attend local mosques and get flight lessons.  The document says Omar al-Bayoumi, a Saudi national who helped two of the hijackers in Califoia, was suspected of being a Saudi intelligence officer. The 9/11 Commission report found him to be an "unlikely candidate for clandestine involvement" with Islamic extremists. The new document says that according to FBI files, al-Bayoumi had "extensive contact with Saudi govement establishments in the United States and received financial support from a Saudi company affiliated with the Saudi Ministry of Defense. ... That company reportedly had ties to Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida," which orchestrated the attacks. The document also points to Osama Bassnan, who lived across the street from two of the hijackers in Califoia. According to an FBI document, Bassnan told another individual that he met the hijackers through al-Bayoumi. Bassnan told an FBI asset that "he did more than al-Bayoumi did for the hijackers." The office of the Director of National Intelligence on Friday also released part of a 2005 FBI-CIA memo, ...ادامه مطلب
