President Barack Obama and Russian leader Vladimir Putin attended an economic summit as pressure mounted to get a deal done. Obama and Putin huddled for 90 minutes on the sidelines of the G20, according to a senior White House official. The official told the Associated Press that the two sides clarified some of the large gaps in how a deal would be implemented. Within minutes of Obama arriving on Air Force One, a member of the Chinese delegation started screaming at White House staff, according to reporters on the tarmac. White House officials reportedly told the Chinese official that the U.S. press corps was staying for the American president arriving on a U.S. aircraft. When the White House official insisted the U.S. would set the rules for its own leader, her Chinese counterpart shot back, the Associated Press reported. • BOMBS OVER LIBYA Obama quietly extends US campaign against ISIS

  •   President Obama has extended the U.S. military’s combat mission in Libya for another month at the request of senior military leaders, two defense officials with knowledge of the order told Fox News.   The decision keeps two U.S. Navy warships off the coast of Libya to continue striking ISIS and assist Libyan ground forces fighting the terror group in the coastal city of Sirte. One of the U.S. warships had been scheduled to go to the Persian Gulf in September to begin airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria and keep an eye on Iran, a week after four provocations between Iranian gunboats and U.S. Navy ships -- one of which resulted in waing shots being fired by a U.S. warship. The other, a U.S. Navy destroyer, was supposed to head to the Black Sea near Russia next month. But both plans will be put on hold, according to one defense official.  USS Wasp, a large amphibious assault ship loaded with over 1,000 Marines as well as Harrier jets and Cobra attack helicopters, wil, bombs over libya ...ادامه مطلب

  • COURTS' LEFT TURN Federal judge picks change legal landscape, ensure Obama's legacy

  •   President Obama may be struggling to tilt the balance of the Supreme Court – but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t already made his mark on the bench. The president, over the course of his two terms, has appointed hundreds of justices to the lower federal courts, leading to a majority of appeals courts now dominated by Democratic picks. While those nomination battles aren’t nearly as high-profile as they are for the high court, the impact of the appointments is just as pronounced.   “It's often overlooked, but nominees to the lower courts ... are often one of the most important legacies a president leaves behind,” said Elizabeth Wydra, president of the Constitutional Accountability Center. The Fourth Circuit, which sits just one level below the Supreme Court and is headquartered in Richmond, Va., is a prime example. Previously viewed as one of the most conservative appellate courts in the country, it has drifted significantly to the left, with Democratic appointees now, courtship, courts, courtesy, courts plus, courts va,courtside, courtside films, courtship definition, courtside grill, courtship of eddies father ...ادامه مطلب

  • OBAMA'S BROKEN PROMISES ObamaCare coverage options disappearing, report finds

  •   Nearly a third of U.S. counties will be left with just one insurance option next year on the ObamaCare exchanges, according to a new analysis fueling waings about the impact of the insurance company exodus from markets across the country.  The Kaiser Family Foundation study found residents in Pinal County, Ariz., are even at risk of having no insurance options on the exchanges, which provide subsidized plans.  Republicans seized on the report Monday to claim that the health care overhaul is not providing the choices promised by President Obama and others.   "The president repeatedly promised that his health care law would provide more choices, ‘bend the cost curve,’ and allow Americans to keep the plans they liked and could afford. He failed to live up to those promises, and families are paying the price," Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., said in a statement, noting the majority of counties in Missouri could be left with just one insurance option on the exchanges.  The Kaise, obama, obamacare, obama movie, obama phone, obama net worth, obama age, obama approval rating, obama speech, obama twitter, obama family ...ادامه مطلب

  • FOR HIS FAMILY Ex-NFL star writes 'love letter' amid memory loss

  •   Former NFL tight end Ben Utecht caught one pass from superstar quarterback Peyton Manning the night of Feb. 4, 2007, helping the Indianapolis Colts win Super Bowl XLI. But that’s not the memory he most wants to retain. Or the life experience he most wants to share. Utecht, who sustained five documented concussions during his five-year NFL career with the Colts and Cincinnati Bengals, said Sunday on “Fox & Friends” that he’s already experienced some long-term memory problems since he last took the field in 2008. That reality led him to write the autobiographical “Counting the Days While My Mind Slips Away: A Love Letter to My Family.” “That was the foundation of writing the book; was to really give a legacy story to my family with the realities that many former NFL players face due to the consequences of concussion,” Utecht said. “And when I left the game at 30 years old already having some long-term memory problems it really made me think long and hard a,man provides for his family, father's prayer for his family, for he and his family grammar, for him and his family, tips for meeting his family ...ادامه مطلب

  • CLINTON FOUNDATION LOOPHOLE? Trump camp claims Hillary’s promise doesn't apply to other family charities

  •   The Trump campaign is making the case that the Clinton Foundation pledge not to accept foreign and corporate donations if Hillary Clinton is elected president doesn't go far enough -- since related charities could still take that money.  The nonprofit foundation announced last week it would accept donations only from U.S. citizens and independent charities if Clinton wins in November. The move was meant to settle ethical conces amid newly released emails that Trump claims reveal a "pay-to-play" operation.   But such a donation ban has not yet been announced regarding smaller Clinton-tied charities including the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership and the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI).  The Trump campaign argues the the groups are exploting a "corporate loophole."  “The Clinton Foundation’s laughable attempt to add, ...ادامه مطلب

  • BIAS ALERT Despite supporting Obama, media links Lochte, Trump

  •   Olympian Ryan Lochte behaved like an ugly American and then lied about it, so he must be a Trump supporter, right? Media outlets led by the Huffington Post have decided so. Nothing other than the swimming star’s bad behavior was enough to send the website’s Cynthia Dill on a flight of fancy – and bizarre assumptions. “How much do you want to bet that Ryan Lochte is a Donald Trump supporter?” Dill wrote, derisively referring to both Trump and Lochte as “bros.” “And is it me, or does shirtless Lochte in the pool resemble shirtless … Putin, Trump’s idol, on a horse?” Related Image Expand / Contract There's no basis for saying Lochte is a Trump supporter, but that didn't stop several media outlets from linking them. (Reuters) Dill’s article concluded, “On Team Trump, there’s no limit to how low the bros can go.” Lance Gould, Huffington Post execut, bias alert, bias alert fox news, fox bias alert, fox news bias alert irony, amber alert bias ...ادامه مطلب

  • BIAS ALERT Media ignores Obama on floods, hit Bush for Katrina

  •   President George W. Bush was to to shreds in 2005 by mainstream media commentators for his initial response to Hurricane Katrina – yet President Obama’s detached response to the recent Louisiana floods has been met with resounding silence from those same outlets. “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” was the shocking charge by singer Kanye West about President Bush’s response to Katrina. West’s was a particularly blunt assessment, but echoed a growing narrative pushed by mainstream media outlets that Bush’s response was out of touch, inept and most of all, he didn’t care about people on the ground. Much of the media coverage at the time not only criticized Bush for the difficulties the federal govement faced in responding to the disaster, but also lambasted him for taking too long to retu from vacation and to visit the site on the ground.
