(Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus) A Minneapolis gun buyback program targeting weapons used in street crimes may be shooting blanks, as detractors said a Saturday collection mostly took in antiquated, unused or homemade arms from legal owners and did little to thin the firearm supply actually available to dangerous criminals. Two Minneapolis locations collected about 150 firearms Saturday, but both exchanges were forced to shut down several hours early when officials ran out of Visa gift cards – $25,000 worth, The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported. And at least some of that money helped finance the purchase of even more guns. One anonymous gun owner told WCCO he received $200 in gift cards that he planned to use to buy a new firearm.   Recently released emails appear to further show a direct connection between the Clinton Foundation and the State Department when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, including efforts to get foundation donors seats to an official lunch with Chinese President Hu Jintao. In emails dated December 2010, Clinton State Department aide Huma Abedin and then-top Clinton Foundation official Doug Band discussed potential guests for the lunch with the Chinese president -- including three executives from groups that had donated millions to the foundation, according to an ABC News report late Saturday. Among the possible guests discussed were Bob McCann, then-president of wealth management at UBS; Judith Rodin, Rockefeller Foundation president and Weste Union CEO Hikmet Ersek.   Hillary Clinton’s post-convention bounce may be coming back down to earth – at least in some parts of the country – as new polls show a tightening race against Donald Trump in several battleground states, especially when Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson is factored in. A Monmouth University Poll released Wednesday showed Clinton holding onto just a 2-point lead in North Carolina. She leads Trump 44-42 percent in the state, while Johnson is pulling 7 percent. The poll also shows Trump with a double-digit lead among independents. North Carolina is one of several battleground states considered critical to Trump’s hopes of capturing the presidency in November. (Fox 8) At least nine people were injured, two seriously, when a car slammed into a crowd at an outdoor concert Sunday in Ohio. Parma Heights Police Detective Sgt. Steve Scharschmidst said that the 74-year-old driver of the vehicle drove onto a small dance floor in the parking lot at Greenbrier Commons, about 10 miles south of Cleveland. Scharschmidst said the driver was pulling out of her parking space when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake. He said she drove onto the dance floor, hitting eight people then struck a telephone pole and a car as she tried to correct herself. The incident happened during a Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin summer band tribute concert, part of a series of outdoor concerts. Hundreds of fans chanting "Lucy! Lucy!" gathered in Lucille Ball Memorial Park in the weste New York village of Celoron to watch as the tarp was removed from the statue made by sculptor Carolyn Palmer. An unflattering version by another artist was banished after detractors started a Facebook campaign named, "We Love Lucy! Get Rid of this Statue." The earlier statue's creator, Dave Poulin, has said that he received death threats over the likeness. He apologized, calling his sculpture "unsettling," but his offer to redo it for free was declined. "Well, it's been quite a ride," Celeroon Mayor Schrecengost said as he kicked off the unveiling ceremony. "A little over a year ago, we got beat up pretty good." In a statement released Friday, 68-year-old Allman says he's currently under his doctor's care at a facility. No further details were provided. Canceled performances for the longtime keyboard player and vocalist for The Allman Brothers Band include festival appearances, solo shows and a tour with ZZ Top. Allman will retu to the stage Oct. 29 at his Laid Back Festival in Atlanta. After that, he'll play 10 shows at New York's City Winery starting Nov. 6. In his statement, the rocker said he wants to thank his "fans and friends for supporting me while I rest up and focus on getting better and back on the road as soon as I can."   Iran might have a video of America's $400 million cash payment to the regime after all -- even though Donald Trump backed off such claims early Friday amid intense criticism.  An apparent Iranian TV documentary in February about the prisoner swap in fact shows pallets of cash, which the narrator indicates is the $400 million payment in question. The video was posted to YouTube this week, after new controversy erupted over the payout.  The Wall Street Joual reported earlier this week that the payment, made in cash, coincided with the release of four Americans, fueling charges that the U.S. paid Tehran a "ransom."    The narrator in the video, speaking in Farsi, describes the money as part of a "swap."  "In this exchange, the Iranians demand the entire four-hundred million in addition to $1.3 billion in deferred interest," the narrator says. “The moing of 17 January 2016, Mehrabad Airport. Four-hundred million dollars in cash is transported to Iran by airplane." The video originates from the site “Ansarclip.ir” and is believed to be an Iranian documentary aired after the U.S. prisoner release. FoxNews.com cannot verify the authenticity of the footage or the claims made in it.  The administration has insisted the money was separate from the prisoner release, part of a $1.7 billion payment stemming from an unfulfilled arms deal -- a payment the administration announced in January.  But critics have called it ransom, and Trump told crowds Wednesday and Thursday there was video of the money being handed over -- and that the tapes were handed over by Iran to embarrass the U.S. “The tape was made right, you saw that? With the airplane coming in -- nice plane -- and the airplane coming in and the money coming off I guess, right?” Trump told a crowd in Portland, Maine, on Thursday. “That was given to us, has to be, by the Iranians and you know why the tape was given to us?
