Two friends living in a remote community in northe Canada have just discovered through DNA that they were switched at birth 41 years ago. Leon Swanson and David Tait Jr. were bo three days apart in 1975 at a hospital in Manitoba run by the Canadian govement, local media reported Friday. Trinity United Church of Christ in Concord holds the “Racists Anonymous” meetings on Wednesdays, Fox 46 Charlotte reported last week. Carol Stanley, who facilitates the meetings, told the station that no one is pointing fingers. “But we're becoming clearer and clearer on the unconscious racism that we all carry,” she said. “It's a way to address one's own racism as a spiritual practice and discipline.” The church says on Facebook that the Racists Anonymous meetings are organized around AA’s 12-steps of recovery. Smart made the remarks in a video posted Friday by Fight the New Drug, an anti-poography advocacy group. Smart, who was taken from her Salt Lake City home in 2002 at the age of 14, recounts how Brian David Mitchell showed her magazines containing hardcore poography. She says he then wanted to mimic what he saw. Smart says she cannot say that looking at poography caused Mitchell to kidnap her but that "poography made my living hell worse." Smart describes herself as an advocate against abuse and poography. She has a book on self-empowerment scheduled for release in spring 2017. James (JJ) Hurtado, 14, was found dead in a remote area near Hermiston, Oregon, Thursday. HERMISTON, Ore. –  Two Oregon high school wrestling coaches are dead in an apparent murder-suicide and the body of a teenager who was last seen alive with one of them was also found, authorities said. Kenneth Valdez, 45, was killed in a bedroom Thursday moing at his home in Hermiston, a northcentral Oregon city of about 17,500 near the border with Washington state. Jason Huston, who volunteered along with Valdez as a wrestling coach at Hermiston High School and was also 45, was found dead in the bedroom from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot. A 35-year-old woman, not yet identified by police, was also found shot in the same bedroom and was taken to a hospital for treatment.   Congress may have the FBI’s documents on the Hillary Clinton email investigation – but Republicans are complaining that the way the files were handed over means only a few lawmakers can actually see them. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, says the bureau has “improperly” limited access to the files, by mixing in classified information with the rest of the material. The result: a cache of documents that only some can see in their entirety.  In a letter Wednesday to the Senate's security director, the top-ranking senator has asked that unclassified portions be provided to his staff – and chided the FBI for providing the files in this way.   “As I have expressed to the FBI in the past, it is inappropriate to unnecessarily mingle classified and unclassified information,” Grassley wrote. (Biadasz Farms on Facebook) A coroner revealed Tuesday that a Wisconsin farmer and more than a dozen cows died when they became overcome by fumes from a huge manure holding tank. According to WAOW-TV, Michael Biadasz, 29, was found by other farmers early Monday when they arrived at Biadasz Farms near Amherst to haul away manure from the football field-sized tanker. Portage County Coroner Scott Rifleman said that the deaths of Biadasz and at least 16 cows are under investigation, but that they were probably overcome by methane or sulfur oxide. Rifleman said the farmer agitated the tank and that this, along with warm upper air temperatures, created a deadly dome of air. Bob Biadasz, the farm’s co-owner, told WAOW-TV that the tragedy only occurred because of unusual weather conditions which created “perfect storm.” Other cows were also sickened by the fumes.   For nearly two years, Mahmoud and his extended family of 17 lived in an Egyptian camp for refugees, experiencing first-hand the U.S. process for vetting Syrian refugees for admission into America. It boiled down to five interviews, totaling roughly four hours, in which they answered mostly ‘yes or no’ questions, according to Mahmoud, who finally made it to the U.S. on July 18 along with wife, children and grandchildren.
