  Black Lives Matter slammed the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee after a memo leaked late Wednesday seemed to show the group carefully coaching candidates on how to avoid angering the "radical" activists.  The November 2015 memo included tips like: Do not offer “support for concrete policy positions;” be sure to "lead from behind;" stick to "small" meetings; and avoid mentioning terms like "black-on-black crime."  On its Facebook page, BLM said officials should "stop pacifying" them.  “We are disappointed at the DCCC’s placating response to our demand to value all Black life. Black communities deserve to be heard, not handled. An Italian restaurant in New Mexico is under fire after making merchandise with a slogan that mimics the Black Lives Matters Movement. KOAT-TV reported Monday that Paisano’s in Albuquerque is selling “black olives matter” shirts and hats after making national headlines for putting the phrase on a sign outside the restaurant. Among their number was Lezley McSpadden, the mother of Michael Brown. Brown's shooting death at the hands of a Ferguson, Mo. police officer in 2014 gave rise to Black Lives Matter and led to anti-police protests around the country. McSpadden did not speak on stage, but one mother who did address the delegates was Geneva Reed-Veal. Her daughter, Sandra Bland, was found hanged in a Texas jail cell last year after she was arrested for allegedly assaulting an officer following a traffic stop. The official verdict of suicide has been disputed by Bland's family. "I’m here with Hillary Clinton because she is a leader and a mother who will say our children’s names," Reed-Veal said. "Hillary knows that when a young black life is cut short, it’s not just a personal loss. It is a national loss. It is a loss that diminishes all of us."   The number of Muslim converts who are risking prison or death by secretly worshipping as Christians in Iran’s house church movement has grown to as many as 1 million people, according to watchdog groups. The London-based Pars Theological Center is training at least 200 Iranian Christians to become the next generation of Iran's church leaders, the Christian Post reported. The persecution of Christians has persisted in Iran since the 1979 rise of the country’s theocratic Shiite Muslim govement -- with Christians facing the threat of death, lashing and torture. About 100 Christians currently remain imprisoned under Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's rule. In 2010, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said the country's underground house churches “threaten the Islamic faith and deceive young Muslims.” "If they want to sing, they have to sing very quietly or not sing at all." - Observer of Iranian "house" churches Despite the crackdown, there is now a growing movement of Christians in the Islamic Republic.
